AP&P Committee Meeting Dates for 2009-2010

 

Listed below are the AP&P Committee meeting dates for the 2009-2010 academic year, (along with the deadline dates for submitting proposals). The AP&P Committee meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month during the fall and spring semesters (with two exceptions for this academic year, January 13 and April 21, as noted below) from 3:00-5:00 p.m. in Room 224 of I.G. Greer Hall.

CATALOG DEADLINE: Please note that the FEBRUARY 3, 2010 AP&P Committee meeting is the deadline for submitting proposals to the AP&P Committee for all undergraduate and graduate course and degree requirement changes that are to be included in the 2010-2011 Undergraduate and Graduate Bulletins.

  • OCTOBER 7, 2009 (Proposals must be mailed from the Deans' /College offices to AP&P members by Sept. 11.)
  • NOVEMBER 4, 2009 (Proposals must be mailed from the Deans'/College offices to AP&P members by Oct. 9.)
  • DECEMBER 2, 2009 (Proposals must be mailed from the Deans' /College offices to AP&P members by Nov. 6.)
  • JANUARY 13, 2010 (Proposals must be mailed from the Deans' /College offices to AP&P members by Dec. 11.)
  • FEBRUARY 3, 2010 (Proposals must be mailed from the Deans' /College offices to AP&P members by Jan. 15.)
  • MARCH 3, 2010 (Proposals must be mailed from the Deans' /College offices to AP&P members by Feb. 5.)
  • APRIL 7, 2010 (Proposals must be mailed from the Deans' /College offices to AP&P members by March 12.)
  • *APRIL 21, 2009 (Proposals must be mailed from the Deans' /College offices to AP&P members by April 2.)

* The "May" meeting is scheduled for April 21 since the Spring 2010 semester classes end on Tuesday, April 27.

All departments/programs should submit their AP&P proposals directly to their Deans' offices. The Deans' offices will distribute their departmental proposals as a packet each month to the AP&P membership mailing list (with a cover memo specifying the AP&P meeting date and a summary of the attached proposals). Please work with the appropriate staff in your Deans' offices regarding the number of copies needed, submission deadline dates, etc.
